It is the very last day of the month, and if it’s not done RIGHT NOW RIGHT HERE, my dutifully assembled assortment of blogs will be without its October friend…and in the world of a somewhat (attempting to be) ORDERLY German, this would hurt…hurt, hurt, HURRRT indeed. From September 2011 onwards, once a month I’ve been diligently squeezing my aging brain cells to extract something mildly relevant (?!) to say without adding further pollution to the WorldWideWeb. Whether successful or not, fulfilling this self-imposed chore has provided me with a somewhat random collection of stories, thoughts and (internal) screams – little snippets of The Life Of Kranz.
Feeling rather random myself today, why not add to the overall sensation of displacement while introducing a bit of premature Christmas cheer (!?)…is it me or do those “festive-season-made-in China-pretty-useless-Glitter-pencils’ have a look of slight embarrassment on their beaky faces? As early as late August – YES! LATE AUGUST!! WRONG, SO WRONG! – those little charmers have been greeting me when entering a certain chain of office supplies. While my initial reaction always seems to be a sigh of relief (full-on aircon, thank you very much!), relief quickly turns into disbelief. Sounds familiar? Thought so. And yet, every year it is the same old same old…only maybe just a fraction of a tad of a whiff….EARLIER.
I am just not into Xmas, that’s all. Can’t stand it, actually. I do love the days off, though…ferociously sewing away completely oblivious to all sorts of ongoing love, domestic violence and chocolate poisoning going on around me. BLISS.
…last time around this year, High Tea with Towels…thanks everyone for attending with towels and bathers in tow, and in three days time I shall embark on another journey to the Land of Shoes…fingers crossed for the illusion of smooth sailing….wouldn’t that be nice!? And obviously just a tad delusional as well…but one can dream…and dream…and fall off scooter eventually.
Fact is, it’s the end of a LONG HOT DAY which left me rather depleted and exhausted – and who would be interested in that, really? So fewer words (and pollution), but some more visuals….
…but not before introducing another shoe designer…Preston and Zly in Melbourne, Australia!
AND NOT ANOTHER WORD ABOUT THAT HEAT!
Good night, everyone.
